Event Details
The ArtsSmarts eXchange 2009 will take place on December 2 in Toronto at the Textile Museum of Canada and Metropolitan Hotel Toronto.
Please note that a continental breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee. Program schedule and further details are available on the ArtsSmarts website.

ArtsSmarts
ArtsSmarts is a learning strategy for student success in the 21st century.
We’ve pioneered a model that uses artist-teacher collaboration, creative inquiry and transdisciplinary practice to transform teaching and learning for students in grades K-12. ArtsSmarts improves student engagement, enhances school retention rates and cultivates 21st century learning skills.
We work through a model of distributed leadership whereby our local, regional or provincial partners deliver this approach in schools. Each of these partnerships are cross-sectoral and involve education, arts, community, corporate and government partners.
Last year, 281 ArtsSmarts projects took place across Canada and were experienced by 27,236 children and youth.
